How to determine your belt size
We make our belts using actual waist measurements. Use a soft measuring tape (tailor’s tape) to measure around your waist where your belt will sit. Don’t snug it up too tightly. Alternatively, you can use a piece of string then measure the length of string with a standard measuring tape. You can specify your waist measurement to nearest 1/2 inch. Five sizing holes per belt are provided, the center hole will correspond to your given measurement. Measurements above 42” may incur additional cost.
Selecting buckle and belt width
1” buckles make great men’s dress belts and are a standard width for women’s belts.
1 1/4” buckles are a standard width for men’s belts. They will fit through belt loops on men’s pants.
1 1/2” buckles are more substantial. If you wear your button-down shirt tucked-in, and are looking for your belt to be a noticeable element in your ensemble, then this is the width for you. 1 1/2” belts will still fit most belt loops on men’s pants but it won’t hurt to double check.
